My husband and I both had an absolutely wonderful experience at Francesco’s cooking class! We have traveled in Italy multiple times and have shied away from classes in the past. They sometimes seemed to be a little to commercial and made for a “one size fits all” type of experience. This was not the case with Francesco’s class! First, the countryside setting was so lovely. Both he and his associate, Patrizia, were super friendly and made us feel relaxed and comfortable. We had discussed my vegetarian diet prior to the class and that was easily managed. Francesco agreed to hold the class earlier than normal to accommodate our schedule. Our cooking instructions were clear and we had plenty of hands on experience with Francesco or Patrizia always there to guide us in the right direction when our pasta dough wasn’t looking so good! Francesco talked a lot about the importance of sourcing the best of fruits/vegetables/meats and cheeses and how to prepare them for best taste and nutrition. Francesco and my husband even surprised me with a special “happy anniversary” table. We truly left having made new friends in addition to having a great Italian cooking class.
